Last weekend gave me some much needed rest. Jessie came in this weekend to celebrate her 23rd BIRTHDAY!!!! She also rode 36 VERY HILLY MILES with me on Sunday. We participated in the "Tri-County Hill Hopper". The temp at start time was a balmy 38. It warmed up rather quickly and it turned out to be an absolutely beautiful day to ride through the country. However, it was a tough ride. We are taking this week off to rest up for the "Pedal Through the Pines" in Bastrop next weekend. That one is suppossed to be a killer as well. Someone remind me again why I think this fun!

Well, I have been riding my little tail off. Two weeks ago I rode about forty mills with my Buddy JP and Karl. Great ride until I had two blow outs! Very unusual. Still had a great time though. I took the next weekend off to go and watch my daughter be a bridesmaid. This is the wedding that sent out announcements that said "Come join us as Girlname and Boyname get BRANDED BY LOVE". You can't make this stuff up folks. And ... In case you were not sure, it was a HUGE redneck event!!!
